Last night Joe Biden's speech was 30 minutes long and he said the word MAGA 13 times. He also said MAGA was a threat to democracy. Did no one tell Biden that we are a republic. If we stand united then we have democracy. In another post, Trump showed side-by-side photos of Biden with both arms raised while making his prime-time speech and of himself kissing the American flag. In his speech, Biden claimed "MAGA forces" are willing to overturn democratic elections and are "determined to take this country backwards," Reuters reported. "Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic," Biden said "As I stand here tonight, equality and democracy are under assault. We do ourselves no favor to pretend otherwise." House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., accused Biden of ignoring crime and inflation to criticize fellow Americans, Reuters noted. "Instead of trying to bring our country together to solve these challenges, President Biden has chosen to divide, demean, and disparage his fellow Americans," McCarthy said. "Why? Simply because they disagree with his policies."
