semi-competent bassist seeks band or jam

Just moved to Bethany from Austin, and I’m hoping to find some people to jam/play with somewhere in the general vicinity of New Haven. Before moving I played in a punk band (https://aintnothins.bandcamp.com) but my tastes are very eclectic and I’m down to play just about anything within my limited abilities. DIY indie rock is probably my wheelhouse, but really it’s all good. Covers, originals, whatever. Down to play with people who’ve never played an instrument before or people who’ve been playing for decades. We’ll figure it out. I’d love to gig, but it’s not a requirement. This is a hobby for me and I’m not looking to make a career of it. I’ll be plenty happy if I can manage to find some people who like to get together, have a few beers, and make some music on a regular basis. 420 friendly if that’s your thing. I’m a late 30s married dad, if that matters to you. As long as you’re comfortable with that, I’m down to play with people of any age, gender identity, sexuality, race, religion, national origin, etc. I won’t make it weird if you don’t.
