I have a sincere question. I have read all the information craigslist has and I am in a quandary as to what is wrong. I placed a notice in the general community box just like this one was. The announcement was about an offer I was making to ride a motorcycle or take a boat out on the water. I tried to explain in the announcement why and the why is I met a fellow who was out riding his elderly brothers motorcycle to keep it running. If stuff sets up no matter how great it is it will quit running and deteriorate. I thought shoot there's probably plenty of people like that -they have a motorcycle or a boat or car maybe truck they have kept. Maybe its sentimental or maybe just something they wish to hold onto but their health was getting poorly and they were unable to take it out of the garage or dock. My thinking was I could do a good deed without costing me much other than time and some gas. I offered to take these kind of things out and around the block from time to time. I was not charging a penny, did not want the people to loan or give me the vehicle or boat. I was offering a free service, not strings attached out the kindness in my heart. This seems acceptable all the way around- it is no scam-just a simply country man with a bit of free time to maybe keep something someone has from going to pot. can anyone tell me what's wrong with that.
