Sarah, our sax player is so lonely that she has to resort to playing two horns at once. She seeks a partner in woodwind or brass crime. The crime being breaking the rule of genre and opening up roles that horn players often don't have the freedom to enjoy. Sarah's not satisfied to be just marking time on the band stand waiting for her solo, nor making every ensemble part some recreation of the Memphis Horns (although sometimes that soul phalanx of horns is the needed thing, which does take at least two to tango), her only rule is if it works, do it! Sarah loves the dance floor to be full, while always seeking that better melodic moment. Funky without being funk, spunky without being too punky, and soulful, but not soul music. More of an early/mid 60's vibe. You are an able player with soloist chops and melodic compositional leanings, available for DEN rehearsals, and gigs all over the greater Denver area. Not a problem child or extreme diva (a little diva is good in all of us). Looking for a more serious endeavor than just sitting in.
