Guitarist seeking to join band

I'm in my 40s and looking to join another band. I like to play heavy thrash guitar and can do leads. I'm pretty open to anything right now as long as the vibe is cool. I am sober for the last 8 years so it would be cool to be around that but not a requirement. I got the gear and transportation and would be up to starting a new project if you have a place to rehearse. I have been in several bands in Portland the last two were Tragos and Kraniul Saw..
