No Shame is a community-based, open-mic for any & all (legal) performance art. We are part of the First Friday Art Walk. Every month! Opening act at 7:30 (belly dancing, this month!). Show starts at 8:00 p.m. Comedy. Drama. Poetry. Music. Dance. Juggling. If it can be peformed on a stage in 5 minutes or less, BRING IT! All you have to do is show up at 7:25 (talent call is at 7:30) & fill out a request to have your 5 minutes of FAME or INFAMY in front of a supportive audience! We do not censor, edit or otherwise infringe on your creative efforts, so long as you follow three, simple rules. And, of course, being part of our audience is more fun than a barrel of monkeys! You will see nothing but original works, many of which will never be repeated, anywhere! It's like a mini Burning Man, without the dust, heat, & 1,000 mile drive. One of these days, it could be YOU up there! (We hold free workshops, every Thursday, same location if you'd like to work up to it!) There are only THREE RULES of No Shame! 1) All works must be ORIGINAL 2) No breaking anything, (including the law!) 3) 5 MINUTES & the lights go out!
