Autonomous Medical Devices Incorporated (AMDI) is a fast-paced medical diagnostics company working on cutting-edge, point-of-care testing modalities. The Building Service Specialist will be based at the newly refurbished 110,000 square foot corporate office and manufacturing facility based in Santa Ana, CA (fully opening in Fall 2022). Position Summary As the Building Service Specialist, duties and responsibilities can include but are not limited to, general cleaning of building, keeping it maintained, and in good condition. This entails cleaning lab cleanrooms, vacuuming, auto floor scrubbing, mopping, restrooms, taking out trash and recycling, washing/cleaning interior and exterior windows and walls. Roles and Responsibilities - Cleaning Lab Cleanrooms - Operate cleaning equipment including Robotic Scrubber - Clean and wipe down lab equipment - Support Janitorial team in cleaning the facility - Restocking cleaning supplies - Vacuum, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces - Perform work to exterior and interior of the building, including washing windows - Operate Man Lift - Cleaning of shipping and receiving area - Assist with other maintenance needs within the facility and facility grounds - Must be able to support maintenance and facilities in filter changes, daily checklist, furniture, and equipment moving - Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions - Other duties/tasks as they arise Qualifications/ Requirements - High School Diploma or equivalent - A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Janitor or cleaning services - Experience working in a Hospital, Lab, Medical device company, Pharmaceutical company, Medical buildings, or Aerospace preferred - Meticulous about cleaning and organization - Excellent verbal communication skills - Excellent documentation skills - Excellent time management - Experience in working in a Cleanroom environment - Must be able to lift to 50lbs - Mechanically inclined is a plus Why join us?
