On September 19th of last year, at the young age of 25, Mimi's life was regrettably cut short due to a tragic, hit and run car accident. The passing of our loved Mimi has greatly impacted all the lives of her family and loved ones. Family members and friends came together to create Drive For Mimi Inc., a nonprofit organization in honor of Mimi. Our mission is to carry Mimi’s legacy by following the principles she lived by: bringing positive change in the world, giving back to the community, and supporting those in need. During this event, we will spread the story behind Drive For Mimi and the goals we are working to achieve in the community. We welcome you to get involved with our mission to increase safe driving and to help us on our journey in making the community a safer place for everyone. To raise money for the organization, we will be selling delicious plates of Latin and African American Traditional dishes, Drive For Mimi Merchandise, Donated gifts, and more. In addition, we are offering opportunities for Vendor Tables and Sponsorships. Please join us, as we come together with food, music, and a walk in honor of Mimi.
