I'm a young, energetic, senior with an eclectic song list: Lyin Eyes by the Eagles, Imagine/Woman/Starting over/John Lennon, Only Want to Be With You/Hootie & The Blowfish, Wonder of You/Elvis Presley, On the Road Again/Willie Nelson, Riders on the Storm/Jim Morrison, Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffet, Heart of Gold/Neil Young, Tears in Heaven/Eric Clapton etc... I also have 7 original country songs (I have done some recording work for a country songwriter). My voice can range from a John Lennon sound to Elvis to Jim Morrison. Definitely have a strong country voice. Enjoy all genres of music. Would love to find a guitarist or band to play gigs, play in the park for tips (Social Security isn't cutting it for me). But, I just want to have fun singing and playing with like-minded people (fun/energetic). I live in the South Bronx just 2 train stops from Manhattan, so I'm in Manhattan nearly every day. I rely on public Transporation. I'm a retired Registered Nurse. Please tell me about yourself, what instrument you play. I'm open to singing other songs/maybe originals.
