It is essential that organizations have policies and practices that ensure students are treated equitably in a manner that prioritizes fairness, safety, and youth autonomy. What does it mean to support LGBTQ+ students from a policy perspective? Should organizations use a student’s government name or their preferred name? This workshop will examine what supportive and safety-focused policies should include while discussing case studies for a well-rounded understanding.
