Peru, IN) - The Miami County Artisan Gallery (MCAG) 20 North Broadway, Peru, IN has announced the planning of its 2022 Chocolate Festival. MCAG will host the event on Saturday, October 15th, from 2 to 5 pm. Entry tickets are $10 in advance for adults and $15 at the door. Youth entry is $5. Patrons will have the opportunity to taste samples of entries and buy vendor chocolates, while watching the event unfold.The competition will be tough but sweet between professional vendors, as they present their chocolate entry and their specialties. Their goal is to win a prize, including a "People's Choice Award." An additional competition will be a free "Youth Chocolate Sculpture Contest" for a $175 prize, and a student achievement certificate. Currently vendors are being enlisted, the Judge solicited, the champagne and wine tasting established, as well as the free coffee, soda, and water. Patrons will be entertained by pianist, Jason Gornto, Ph.D., and by gazing on the amazing art works displayed throughout the Gallery
