This role is responsible for smoothing out, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete at job or construction sites. Some travel will be required as sites are developed. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Smooth out concrete or segments to ensure the concrete poured is level. Prepare surfaces; level surfaces; smooth high spots and fill depressions; wash away excess concrete. Install masonry according to specifications. Safely operate concrete tools. Mold and construct expansion joints and polish surfaces. perform other job-related duties as assigned. Experience and Education: Experience as an apprentice and on the job working with experienced masons or one to two years of concrete finishing experience. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
