We will go deep into how trauma effects sensory regulation with practical treatments for regulation of children who have experienced trauma. Course Objectives: • Identify how trauma effects the brain and sensory regulation. • Examine practical strategies for OT in relation to a trauma lens. This course will be administered live, on-site in San Marcos AND virtually! This course has been submitted for approval to ASHA, APTA, and AOTA, as well as the Texas Associations, TOTA, TPTA and TSHA.
