✨This event welcomes donations, paying what you can, trading, bartering, goods, services, or just bring your energy✨ No stress, movement is medicine. Ths events goal is to be accessible for all. (Should you need specific accommodations please send an email and we will do our best to meet your needs.) Bring: water and a yoga or exercise mat if you have one, there will be some available. Rhythm & Rootz is a movement class where we embrace Ma or Earth and all of her people, past and present. The instructor Jenna (@kcjennab) uses indigenous intuition to guide the class through grounding dance movements. The class is music driven and the music is carefully curated for the beat, but most importantly it pays homage to the cultures that inspire us all 🌍. A celebration ritual dedicated to this Earth and its ability to teach, provide, and sustain us all. **Rhythm & dance experience is most certainly NOT a prerequisite for this class, the repetition/ modifications makes the purpose of this class accessible for everyone. It is a jam sesh for tu cuerpo. 😌 Earthing is not only being barefoot outdoors, but to consciously embrace the sensation of the soil and intentionally recognize the power Ma has and has had since her beginning. We will make a bouquet of fresh flowers before the movement portion of the event to remind us that as long as we care for Spirit Earth she will continue to provide. The event being held on the 8th day of September represents life force energy and eternity. Thursday (Jupiter day) represents growth, expansion, wisdom and learning. All of the intentionality behind this class will shower not only the land with life force energy and growth, but each other, and most importantly our community.
