"The Melody Room" showcases & host some of the most rawest and talented musicians, singers, & bands in the Springfield area as well as from all over the world! From Rnb, Soul, Neo Soul, Gospel, Funk, Country, Rock, Jazz, Hip Hop, Christian Contemporary Music, etc all music genres are welcomed! The Melody Room is a vibe where you can come witness quality live music up close and personal while enjoying a music experience of a lifetime! We are needing & wanting 25 of the most amazing vibrant "good vibes only" energetic chilled audience members! "The Melody Room" is specifically designed to create a multi-cultural platform for all artists and musicians of all musical genres in the Springfield area and across the world! Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Kiva began exploring the world of music from a very young age. Between the ages of 5 & 6 she began to sing to herself and discover that she had a voice and a true love for music. She grew up enjoying a wide range of musical genre’s which included 90’s r&b, old school soul, and pop music. She’d jam out in her bedroom singing music from artists like Mariah Carey, Aaliyah, Destiny’s child, Nsync, Lauryn Hill, and one her favorites, Stevie Wonder. But that was just the beginning. She would soon move on from singing in her bedroom to singing in her high school choir; Graduating high school and singing gospel in her university’s gospel choir; doing small cafe shows; And now weekly leading contemporary/gospel worship music at her church. Alongside her church’s worship team, she has co-written songs and opened up shows for famous Christian musical artists. Over the years, Kiva has felt more & more that singing and expanding her musical abilities through writing, playing guitar & piano, has been a way for her to connect with God. It has also grown to be a major way that she connects with people. Her desire is to continue sharing her God given musical talents with her community & the world, and to give all glory to God in the process.
