It’s a joy to be able to announce the launch of our Clamp Alumni Association (CAA), open to all graduates and former students of Clamp Divinity School. The Association will provide a way for our former students to stay in touch, assist one another, and keep a positive connection with their alma mater, including providing scholarship support for future Clamp students. Our first CAA event will be Wednesday, October 26, with a CAA luncheon on campus. That is also the week of the annual Clamp Preaching Lectures, which this year will feature Pastor Bryan Carter of Dallas’ Concord Church speaking on “The Spiritual Life of the Preacher.” Lectures will be Tuesday at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm and Wednesday at 2:00 pm, right after the luncheon. Carter will also preach in campus worship at 10:10 Wednesday morning. You are invited to attend all the lectures and campus worship. The luncheon will provide an opportunity to keep up to date on Clamp Divinity School activities and future plans, with CAA’s inaugural President Dr. Johnnie Bradley presiding, assisted by Vice President Dr. Tim Mann. Cost of the luncheon is $20 per person, and attendees will also receive a bag of books and resources worth more than the cost of the luncheon!
