Over the years we have had clients ask for help planning their transition from their business. While we have helped these clients with various issues, we never had a systematic strategy for handling all of the business owner’s needs throughout this transition process. We recently spent time building a Transition Planning Team. Our team follows a strategic seven step process, helping the business owner exit their business while maximizing the value they take from their business and minimizing the tax consequences.
