Hydroponics 101 -- Kratky Method with Custom-etched Mason Jar Planter

Description

Using reclaimed wine bottles (Not clear. Algae isn't cool and UV rays allow it to flourish. Participants are encouraged to bring their own), we will cut the glass, create a stencil with the vinyl cutter, and acid etch the bottle to leave with a leafy green growing via Kratky method. This event is free. If you are able, please donate ($5|| $10|| $20). This will help us continue to offer free events and workshops. INSTRUCTOR BIO "Mr. Josh" provides experiential learning opportunities to a range of participants, with a focus on "disconnected" youth and individuals with a range of severe disabilities. He currently operates a hydroponic urban farm inside Passport Academy Charter School.
