On October 15th, 2022, the Town of Miami Lakes is hosting its annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. National Hispanic Heritage Month is annually celebrated from September 15 to October 15 in the United States for recognizing the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.
This year, the spotlight turns to Venezuela! The South American country, home to nearly 30 million people, is a vast and culturally rich place. Sitting just above the equator and at the top of the Andes Mountains, Venezuela is full of varied and biodiverse landscapes. To match, the country is home to many cultures, celebrations, and food, of course.
At this year's celebration, you will find food thanks to Francisca Charcoal Chicken & Meats, music, socializing, education, and more! Come experience Venezuela with us on October 15th at 6:00pm at the Miami Lakes Town Hall!
