About Ever wonder if there are ways to streamline your organization’s strategic planning process? Taking stock of current status and future goals during strategic planning is important to the health of an organization, but often can appear too complex or difficult to engage all needed stakeholders. This month’s Nonprofit Lunch and Learn talk offers ways to make the strategic planning process more engaging, efficient, and exciting! We’ll talk about how you can use these tools and techniques to set up your organization for even greater success during your next round of planning. About the Speaker: Jeremy Prince, Innovation Fellow at enFocus Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Jeremy earned his bachelor’s degree and a master’s in Economics and Policy Analysis before joining enFocus as a Civic Innovation Fellow. Jeremy’s projects involve working with government, educational, and non-profit organizations to support their strategic initiatives. Jeremy’s previous work experience working with non-profits, helping start-up organizations, and supporting entrepreneurial endeavors, has taught him the ins and outs of developing strategies and project plans. Objectives Make strategic planning more accessible and less intimidatingGain clarity on how to structure a strategic planIdentify tools for aiding in the strategic planning processSignup Interested nonprofits, or individuals representing a nonprofits, can RSVP to our event by purchasing a (free) ticket for each participant. You will then be asked to answer a few questions that will allow us to learn a bit more about your organization, in order to provide appropriate assistance and guidance to your group and others. Schedule 11:30am: Individuals representing their nonprofits arrive at the TRC, find a table, and enjoy lunch provided. 11:45am: Community expert will showcase a relevant challenge faced by nonprofits and present the resources and successful strategies leading to data-driven, innovative solutions for the topic of interest. 12:15pm: The remainder of the time will be open for attending nonprofits to examine how the techniques and resources shared can be used within their own organization. If there are particular questions surrounding how data can be used to increase efficiency within you organization, this is a time to receive guidance from enFocus Fellows and community experts! Directions: The Technology Resource Center (Catalyst 2, 1165 Franklin St) is in South Bend's Ignition Park which is a large tech park location on the southwest corner of Lafayette and Sample Streets. When you arrive, please drive to the main parking lot. The event will be in the building marked Catalyst 2 and the best entrance to use will be the left most (Northeast) entrance (marked "Community Entrance").
