It’s a journey as you assemble your Sock Creature Parts and watch it take shape until it’s completed! When your creature is complete you can name and invent a story to go with it! All supplies are provided, however, if you have anything special you would like to add please feel free to bring it with you. Paloma studied at the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. She now works as a professional graphic designer. In addition to graphic design, Paloma was trained in Arts Education with the Lincoln Center for the Arts. Since the early 1990s, Paloma has worked with young people teaching them about drumming and art. She has taught with many youth organizations in Detroit and most recently with local Lansing institutions: The Michigan Project, Allen Neighborhood Center, Reach Art Studio, and Lansing Art Gallery and Education Center. This workshop is for all ages and masks will be required during the workshop.
