Lighthouse Storage is looking for a motivated, talented and reliable leader to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our self-storage facilities in Ft. Lauderdale (Oakland Park) and Cooper City. You'd be working three days/week at Ft Lauderdale, two days/week at Cooper City. You will serve as an invaluable member of our company by striving to build a clean, safe, and positive experience for our customers. Responsibilities · Manage the day-to-day operations of the site, working closely with the District Manager and your property Co-Manager · Develop customer relationships by identifying their storage needs and providing solutions · Achieve occupancy, revenue and other objectives through unit rentals, insurance of rentals, and retail sales of moving supplies · Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements · Handle cash and balance receipts, pursue collections, process payments and make regular bank deposits with integrity · Ensure the facility meets the highest cleanliness standards. You accomplish this by cleaning units, sweeping, mopping, and other basic cleaning duties · On occasion, you may need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds · Weekends required · Other duties as assigned Qualifications · 2+ years of customer service experience (i.e. self-storage, retail sales, restaurant, sales associate, front desk, site management, and/or other customer-centered sales roles) · Strong communication, math and computer skills · Valid Driver's License and auto insurance with access to reliable transportation · High School Diploma .
