Miles Library Annual Book Sale. $1 Hardcovers/50 cent Paperbacks (cash, check, credit cards) 11:30 a.m. Class of 1982 Alumni Lunch at Southern Kitchen in Uptown 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Hilltop Farmer's Market, Norton Fountain – Free Event Everyone is invited to create floral bouquets, shop with student vendors, enjoy fresh fruits & veggies and local food trucks (Aww Shucks and City Bowls). Sponsored by Quest II & Student Development. 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Registered Guest Check-In, Norton Atrium Programs, pre-purchased tickets and t-shirts will be at Check-In. 4:30 p.m. Class of 1982 Alumni Happy Hour at Helen Restaurant 5:30p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Class of 1972 Alumni 50th Class Reunion Party w/ Goodfellas Jazz – Academic Quad Ticketed event ($25), click to register. Rain location – President’s Home 6:00 p.m. BSC Sports Hall of Fame Dinner - Bruno Great Hall, Norton, ticketed event. The 2022 class of inductees into the T.B. Pearson Sports Hall of Fame will be honored. Celebrate the 2022 Distinguished Alumni Award honorees. Check-in will be on the third floor of Norton. Distinguished Alumni Award – Louise Hall Beard ’71, Jennifer Hatchett ’95, Robert Smith ‘66Outstanding Young Alumni Award – Susan Chesley Fant ’09, Jennifer Commander ‘12Rising Star Award – Denzel Okinedo ‘16. 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Organization Open Houses Open Houses will be held at various student group locations across campus. Organizations will extend email invitations to parents/alumni to visit and learn more during this time. 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. BSC Memorial Service at Norton Theatre Everyone is invited to take a moment to remember our BSC alums and friends. 12:00 p.m. - 4:00pm Annual Library Sale - N.E. Current BSC students are free courtesy of Quest II, but must register on-line. Enjoy lunch from Jim ‘n Nicks or a vegetarian option. Food service from 1:00pm – 3:00 p.m. Ticketed meal ($16), click to purchase. A limited number available on-site. Lawn games and face painting will also be available. 1:30 p.m. BSC Authors Book Signing - N.E. Miles Library Visit with alumni, and friends of the College who have published books, from fictional thrillers to non-fiction advice and inspiration. 4:00 p.m. BSC vs. Millsaps College, Battle Field at Krulak Stadium Purchase tickets in advance HERE, or at the stadium. We are also offering a simple Birmingham-Southern gray shirt with navy lettering. Both are great selections!
