Join us at Studio By The Tracks for Seasonal Botanical Expressions, a workshop lead by local floral artist Holly Carlisle. Using what nature provides us from the roadside, we will seek to explore each foraged material type, both living and dead, moving beyond the vessel as we create a unique botanical wall hanging. As we create, we will discover what we find to be uniquely essential about the particular seasonal moment we are experiencing. Holly's demonstration will allow us to experiment with a number of sustainable mechanics and techniques rooted in traditional floristry and fiber art practices. All supplies are provided. This workshop is appropriate for all ages. We have a limited capacity so if for any reason you cannot attend after registering, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible so that we can offer your seat to someone on our waitlist. If the workshop is full, it will not allow you to register, but you can email [email protected] to get on our wait list. This is a free event that is possible with support from the Alabama State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. You are not expected to pay to attend, although we graciously accept donations to our Studio which helps sustain our programming at Studio By The Tracks. Thank you!
