Smart Start Daycare is filling full-time positions for children aged 2 months through 6 years old. My name is Lilly, I'm a mother to one energetic 2 and a half year old. I opened this state-certified daycare after struggling to find what I wanted out of the daycares in the Battle Creek area. I am CPR, First-aid, and Blood-borne pathogen certified. I also have other trainings that include but aren't limited to Infant Safe Sleep. I participate in the 4Cs Food Program and offer healthy breakfest, AM snacks, lunch, and PM snacks.  Each week I teach a new curriculum to the children that includes a weekly theme, vocabulary word, shape, color, letter, number and nursery rhyme. We have arts, crafts, puzzles, and lots of toys. We play outside (3000 Sq ft fenced in backyard) everyday the weather is nice. There is no smoking, drugs, or alcohol on the property. We have 2 friendly dogs, a very passive cat, and a fish tank.  Daycare hours are 7AM - 5PM Monday through Friday. I charge $180 per week for children under 3 years old and $165 for children 3 and older. I am also open to as needed childcare (date nights, Saturdays, etc) on a case by case basis.
