Advice Needed from People with Cerebral Palsy or friends/family of a person w/Cerebral Palsy. QUESTION: Is it normal for a person with cerebral palsy to not initiate conversation via questions?.... example, If I asked them when their Birthday was, they would respond with a date, and then ask, when is yours? Just to keep the conversation going? SITUATION: I am talking with a very good looking guy thru a few different apps. He has cerebral palsy, he is hearing/speech challenged. He is definitely an Alpha Dominant Male, and I am seeing Narracistic qualities, along with anger issues, depression, possible PTSD, he gets angry at the touch of a button and is a pro at the silient treatment, for days at a time. He has built High Emotional Walls...and I can deal with all that, I just find it odd that if I ask questions to initiate conversation, he answers straight forward but cannot seem to ask me those same questions in return. Is this normal with a Person with Cerebral Palsy?? These are the Questions I've asked him, he answers, yet cannot seem to ask the same questions.... 1) whens your birthday? 2) how old are your kids? 3) how are you doing, are you ok? (I Was having a bad day and told him I was, he responded with just an "OK." 4) where are you from? 5) how was your weekend, do anything fun? Is it me, or is he incapable of cognitive curiousity? Or is he just rude uncaring, selfish? I want to continue talking with him, I just dont understand the scenario? If I ask him about it, he will be triggered. Any ideas? Advice? Solutions? Thnx 4 your help in advance!
