KKW Trucking Inc. is a 60-year-old 100% employee-owned company and is looking for new talented associates. We are currently hiring a hostlers out of Lathrop, CA 95330. Apply in person at 2131 Louise Ave Lathrop, CA 95330 • Hiring manager = Ernesto Vargas Working days: SUNDAY-THURSDAY with some occasional OVERTIME work Start time: 10 pm-6:30 am It's hourly pay yard Helper Only. Job purpose: • Responsible for preparing curtain van trailers so the loads are ready for the drivers when they arrive. Duties and responsibilities • Responsible for the daily inspection of KKW trailers on site. • Fills out documentation of daily inspection of KKW trailers and reports to manager any flat tires or any damages to trailer • Will be pulling curtain's on the Curtain Van trailers • Will be strapping down Curtain Van to secure load. • Maintain the yard clean and organized at all times • Direct truck and trailer traffic if needed to avoid yard congestion • Standing around frequently due to waiting for things to be ready, try to keep yourself occupied. • Walking around inspecting the trailers in the yard • Removing bars from Curtain Van trailer • Moving curtains back and forth on the trailers. •Throwing straps over the freight to get the load properly secured.
