The Fabrication Assembler will use a variety of tools and equipment to weld and assemble sub-units based on drawing specifications. As a Fabrication Assembler, you will benefit from: $20/hr (to start with no experience) - up to $24/hr with previous experience. Training-based increases dependent on your performance. Benefits after probationary period: (medical/dental/vacation/etc.) 9 days of paid holidays per year Paid time off 401k - 3.5% match Tuition reimbursement As a Fabrication Assembler, you will be required to: Work as part of a team to fabricate, weld, and assemble components of a system. Use basic hand and power tools like drills, routers, jigsaws, etc. Follow diagrams and drawings, read numbers and measurements on drawings. Use 3D drawings (solidworks) to fabricate and assemble components of a cabinet/ panel system. Perform both sub and final assembly and quality control. Maintain a safe and clean work environment in a 5 S work system. Qualifications: Previous industry experience is a plus, but no experience is necessary! Fast learners with a great attitude or experience assembling products could be a fit. Previous experience reading blueprints or drawings. Previous experience adhering to Safety and Quality demands while working in a production facility. Ability to deal with changing priorities on a daily basis. Ability to work closely with a team of other assemblers. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to engage in detailed work requiring continuous fine motor skills, some repetitive motion, use of arms and hands in a steady form for long periods of time. Ability to hear, read, and speak English. Ability to see, read, and interpret drawings in English. Lifting a minimum of 15lbs. required. Schedule: 6 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday with overtime on Friday’s. Flexibility is a must- occasional overtime may be required. Interviews are taking place right away.
