ASPHALT LABORER NEEDED Our company is hiring Asphalt Laborers to help us service our growing customer base. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and can work independently. Someone who also has a background in asphalt and concrete trades, as well as physically fit and capable of long hours of physical labor. The laborer will also be responsible for driving trucks, moving heavy equipment, maintaining our fleet of vehicles, and operating said equipment. A successful applicant will be responsible for asphalt repairs, various asphalt projects, miscellaneous concrete related tasks, striping, and sealcoating. Responsibilities and Attributes: • Be on time. • Communicate effectively. • Maintain a positive attitude. • Follow instructions carefully. • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Ability to work on a team and independently. • Takes initiative. • 1+ years of asphalt and/or concrete experience. • 1+ years of striping experience. • Ability to think ahead and anticipate job conditions and needs. • Ability to maintain and operate various machinery and equipment. • Knowledge of small tools. • Maintain professional demeaner and represent the company appropriately.
