Nav Tech Inc. is looking to hire qualified Warehouse workers in Hauppauge, NY. To qualify you must have the below credentials. Description: The Warehouse worker must be able to efficiently load and unload trucks, operate a forklift / pallet jack, keep an accurate count of physical inventory on all inbound and out bound shipments including warehouse stock locations. The responsibility is to accurately perform these tasks in a safe manner on these machines and ensure all Customer orders and pick-ups are done correctly and in a timely fashion. Able to assist in Copper Bus Bar assembly in products for production. The candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment and various warehouse conditions. Responsibility Safely load and unload inbound / outbound deliveries Accurately keep a detailed inventory of Warehouse stock Safely and accurately fill all Customers orders in a timely fashion Accurately keep all paperwork on file for all inbound / outbound material and Customer orders and deliveries Small Scale Assembly of Products Follow all policies and procedures Maintain daily records and upkeep inventory on inventory system Maintain a clean and clutter free work environment Operate all machinery safely and efficiently Must be able to safely operate a forklift and or electric pallet jack Report all incidents and accidents immediately to management Other duties assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF POWER HAND TOOLS FOR ASSEMBLY Strong communication / computer skills Ability to lift 75 lbs Knowledge of safe warehouse and machine operation practices Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions 2 years warehouse experience preferred but not required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00-$17.00 Job Type: Full-time Salary: From $16.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred) Language: English (Preferred)
