looking to start/join a queer indie band

Hi friends! I (late 20s genderqueer bassist) am looking to start or join an indie band. My preference is generally towards punkier indie music, but I'd also be down for an indie-pop style thing. If you're going by spotify wrapped genres, think bubblegrunge, dream pop, indie punk type beats. If you're going by bands, think beach bunny, hop along, kississippi, etc. I've performed all over DC, done DIY and professional recording, making merch, and marketing releases. I'd love to work on a new release with a group and do a small weekend tour around the mid-atlantic. Not concerned with making this my day job, but excited about doing a hobby seriously!
