Description
How many band situations have you been in where your playlist comes from the “boomer jukebox” that we all grew up with and LOVE, but let’s face it, it is the same playlist that everyone else is playing and you have been playing for years.
We have started a new project drawing from the genre of country music, and we have been having a blast! We have been playing modern country back to classic country tunes, applying a contemporary treatment to all and delivering a rich, textured play. Everyone in the group contributes song suggestions and you will find the group dynamic to be generous and patient.
If you are a male or female keyboard player who wants to have fun and maybe try something new, reach out and talk to us. The songs we have been playing could use a range of keyboard sounds including piano, organ, accordion, etc. If you can add any vocals, that is a big plus!
We are currently a five-piece group consisting of 1) Lead/Backing Vocals, Harmonica; 2) Lead/Rhythm Guitar, Lead/Backing Vocals; 3) Lead/Rhythm Guitar, Lap Steel Guitar; 4) Bass Guitar; and 5) Drums.
We have been rehearsing in mid-Westchester on a semi-weekly cycle on a weeknight. If you would like to know more and/or get a playlist, just reach out. Nobody has ever fun by saying no!
