Design and manufacturing Company seeks full time or part time production welder. We are looking for a mig welder to join our team in building custom dimensional shapes and sculptures for commercial applications. Attention to detail, patterns, bending, cutting, welding and cleaning all are part of the full range of responsibilities This job is a temporary job that lasts from now until end the end of October (every year we need this seasonal help). We would consider part time or full time workers. OT is often available. In November if you would like to continue to work we do have work on our install teams (working to set up holiday displays) through the first week in December. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Mig welding experience. Company will train on specific products. · Complete assigned tasks/jobs from daily production schedule. And maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. · Enforce and comply with all applicable safety and quality management policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: WELDING: Operate and setup various welding machines, cleaning and grinding with handheld equipment, cutting metals, drilling/punching holes, use of hand tools and jigs. EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A weld test will be a part of the application process. OTHER: Good mechanical aptitude. Ability to work well with others and follow task driven directions. Reliable transportation required.
