Residential Quality Assurance Technician Weekly Pay!! POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for walking residential houses after trim to ensure all lighting, devices, and equipment are wired, installed, and working correctly to local and NEC codes and ready for inspection. WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) ELECTRICIAN? 3-5 years of fast-paced residential electrical new construction experience Must be able to install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to local and NEC codes. A Valid Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Report. Must possess own hand tools and power tools to execute electrical jobs. RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspection and repair of electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential new construction homes. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, to identify where the wiring is or should go Always maintaining safety standards. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor QUALIFICATIONS: Able to troubleshoot and repair all circuitry in new home construction Able to read and follow blueprints Fully understands local and federal regulations for safe electrical systems Must be willing to operate a company vehicle. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Self-motivated and driven to get the job done quickly and to the best of their ability. Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
