Let’s start a reggae band here in the high desert. I got the bass and keys covered, and I have a studio with PA and drum kit on my property. We’d need a drummer and guitar/vocalist at the minimum, but a keyboardist and second guitar would be dope. Let’s start with a handful of covers/standards, and work on originals as the muse guides us. I’d like our original songwriting to be collaborative and democratic. Must live in or be willing to drive up to the high desert. Must have own gear and transportation. I’m 40ish with a mortgage and a good job to pay said mortgage. Doing well within the system personally, but reeeeeally not happy with the system writ large, and our music should reflect this. Looking to record original material and gig regionally. Not really interested in touring because family life and job. Looking forward to hearing from you if we’re in a similar space in life.
