CELEBRATE CONSCIOUS COMMUNITY - SEPTEMBER 10TH (Grand Opening Event 2 of 2 | Class 5 of 9) Class Name: Introductory Forest Bath Class Description: This class will offer a brief introduction to the practice of Forest Bathing. Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) was developed in Japan in the early 1980s as a way to cultivate connections among communities and the natural world. We will experience a taste of what forest bathing is through a nature immersion meditation and forest bathing invitations as this class guides you into a deep state of awareness and connection to your surroundings. Facilitator Name: Missie Wikler - r'oming yoga Class Time: 3:15-3:45 Come Prepared: Participants should wear shoes that are comfy enough to walk in the open desert. Maybe gym shoes or sandals they would walk off road in. Be prepared to be outside, so layers if it's a cool day, we will even go out if its a little rainy, but not if it's too wet or smoky. 13+ Kids are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Classes will be first come first serve for sign ups, walk-ins will only be available if someone is a no show or the class is not full. COME TOGETHER FOR TOURS, CLASSES, MUSIC & FOOD An afternoon for all community members, neighbors & families. Come spend time together, learn about Hanai, enjoy some food, live music by Travis Ehrenstrom and participate in our free mini classes. 12:00-2:00- Food, Live Music by Travis Ehrenstrom, Tours & Community All ages welcome! 2:00-5:00- There will be up to 9 free classes during this time. Class sign up are available via Eventbrite. Classes will be first come first serve for sign ups, walk-ins will only be available if someone is a no show or the class is not full. 2:15-2:45: Classes 3:15-3:45: Classes 4:15-4:45: Classes (we added more!)All of our Grand Opening events are free!
