BUSSANI MOBILITY TEAM Our Company is looking for an experienced, responsible driver/shop porter who can perform multiple functions in assisting our accessible vans team in our Mamaroneck, NY location. Our industry consists of helping individuals with disabilities to regain control of their own daily tasks by providing them the opportunity to operate a wheelchair accessible vehicle. Our drivers play a huge role in our daily functions by picking up our clients, and their vehicles. All responsibilities below are to be performed daily but will be modified depending on the workflow for the day. Please visit our website: to get a sense of the vehicles we work with! Main Responsibilities: - Deliver mobility converted vehicles between various locations including but not limited to customer homes, dealerships, car washes, and company branches. - Safely transport customers, employees, parts, documents, etc. to their required destinations in a timely manner. - Prepare vehicles to be sold, rented, shown, or otherwise used: o Washing the vehicle at the partnered car washes o Cleaning the interior using shop supplied products o Taking vehicles to be inspected at the inspection stations o Refilling the gas at designated gas stations o Checking fluids, tire pressure, and other maintenance required items o Installing/uninstalling the necessary mobility equipment and seating - Check in new or pre-owned vehicles in accordance with company guidelines - Clean and maintain the shop, office space, showroom, bathroom, and parking lot on a daily basis, or as needed. - Assist technicians, parts managers and service advisors as required. - Above all, be courteous, punctual, professional and responsible. Requirements: - Clean Driver’s License record a must, with a minimum of (3) years driving experience. - Capable of driving, moving and standing for extended periods of time. - Great communication skills - Works well with others - Ability to lift (50) pounds without assistance. - Smartphone with access to GPS functionality, calling and texting.
