Hello friends and soon to be friends! For September, Our Night Out is headed to an awesome new spot for us – The Delaware Art Museum. Bring a beach chair and/or blanket and hang out with us in the sculpture garden There will be live music, two bars and food for purchase. WHAT IS THE DELAWARE ART MUSEUM? From the museum website, “This summer, we’re taking our Happy Hours to the next level. The live music, seasonal beverages, local food trucks, lawn games, and vendors you love are back. New this year, visitors can snack at Kaffeina Café and take a tour of Museum highlights. Toast to summer in a lively, artful atmosphere on Thursday evenings all season long. The Museum and its galleries are open with free admission. As a partnership with local LGBTQ+ social group Our Night Out (ONO), we will extend the season with an extended Happy Hour. Bar will open at 6 pm. Music: Crossroads Band (Classic Rock, R&B) Food: Los Taquitos de Puebla and Kaffeina Cafe This is a rain or shine event. Happy hour may be moved inside due to inclement weather. The Delaware Art Museum is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. PARKING There is a parking lot behind the museum, but it’s likely to fill up quick. There is also ample free parking in the neighborhood on both sides of Kentmere Parkway. WHAT IS OUR NIGHT OUT WILMINGTON? Our Night Out Wilmington is an LGBTQ+ social group. We promote a monthly opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community to gather to network, socialize and simply have fun. Our Night Out Wilmington is free. Free to join, free to enter each venue. You just pay for your own food & drink. Diversity is welcome and encouraged. People of color and all gender identities are welcome. To keep scheduling easy and constant, our events will be held on the third Thursday of each month.
