Come learn the basics of sewing on your home machine, or use one of ours provided by Quality Sew and Vacuum. We are thrilled to teach you terminology, your way around a machine and how to finish raw edges while making something you can walk out and fill with books, groceries or more fabric for your next project. We will be making these useful items in the art gallery Slip in Belltown. Surfaces will be cleaned, there will be an air filter and masks could be required. We have tools and materials for sale, should you need them, otherwise here is your supplies list. Please bring: 1yd pre-washed cotton or home decor fabric, nothing too thin or too thick please. 1/4yd contrasting material for straps, preferably a material 60" wide or wider Matching thread should you so desire.
