Description

Viva Brazil Festival is a three day festival: with a welcome party at the Mercury Cafe in Denver on September 9th, and 2 shows; one at the Dairy Arts Center in Boulder on September 17th and another at Cleo Parker Robinson on September 18th. There will be several dance workshops throughout the festival. We are excited to announce our guest artists who are coming straight from Rio de Janeiro: Queen of Brazilian Carnaval, Thai Rodrigues and world renowned choreographer Patrick Carvalho. Our cast will also feature Brazilian dancers Luciana Da Silva, Marianna Lutterbach, Weslei Guimaraes, Lorin Hansen and many other talented dancers. Artists will perform a repertoire based on popular dances with African, Indigenous, and European origins that gave birth to Brazilian culture. Everyone is welcome!
