Chris Moore is the Service Director for the City of Springfield, Ohio. He provides oversight and support to the 142 men and women that serve the citizens of Springfield through 12 divisions: Administration, Street Maintenance, Traffic Control, Forestry, Water Distribution, Sewer Maintenance, Fleet Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, Engineering, Construction, Water Treatment, and Wastewater Treatment.
Chris has served the Springfield community since 1998 when he joined the city’s Engineering Department. After eight years he left City Hall and became Operations Superintendent for the Service Department, where he spent five years before to being promoted to his current role as Service Director.
Chris holds an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Clark State Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Urbana University, and a Master of Public Administration from Wright State University. Chris represents the city in a variety of capacities including the Transportation Coordinating Committee’s Technical Advisory Committee and the Springfield Chapter of Business Networking International.
Chris is a lifelong Clark County resident and has lived in Springfield since 1997. Outside of work he enjoys running, personal finance, and spending time with his wife Kristi and sons Jeffrey and Justin.
