According to the Blue Star Families 2021 Military Family Lifestyle Survey, only 30% of our active-duty families feel a sense of belonging to their local civilian community. The average military family moves three times as often as their civilian peers. More than 70% of families live off of the military installation in their local civilian communities, and they do not feel a strong sense of belonging to those communities. Our military families have lots of questions that they try to navigate on their own, or on hearsay. What are my employment options as a military spouse? What about my child's education?
