FREE AND OPEN TO ALL! Family Day is a free, drop-in program featuring art activities led by GAMA faculty and students. This semester, we'll also be joined by the College of Natural Sciences Little Shop of Physics! Designed for children ages 5-12. Inspired by the current exhibition, Off the Shelf: Contemporary Book Arts in Colorado, Family Day will feature a variety of hands-on art and science activities! Kids can make their own artist books to take home, and families can tell art stories by adding to a long scroll that will later be on display in the Robert W. Hoffert Learning Center. The Little Shop of Physics will also provide hands-on experiments to fit the Off the Shelf theme. Meet exhibition curators, explore the galleries, make art and science projects, and connect with art and each other! Family Days are designed to engage the whole family in exploring, investigating, and having fun.
