Volunteer Restoration Project with HPEC & VOC

Description

Event Information: HPEC is collaborating with Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado for a restoration project at the north end of Houts Reservoir. We will be planting shrubs, trees, and weeding along the newly constructed wetlands. These spaces are a vital habitat for many ducks and shorebirds, and many unique plants like the rare prairie gentian. This planting project will accelerate the restoration timeline and add some wonderful native diversity to the area!
