Vineyard Wind and Lawrence Lynch will be hosting a career fair for the Vineyard Wind 1 Offshore Wind Farm Project. Offshore wind turbine parts are expected to begin arriving right here in the Port of New Bedford in early 2023. Want a chance to be a part of this ground-breaking (or should we say water-breaking) industry? Then come join us on September 14th between 4:30 and 7:30pm to meet contractors for the Vineyard Wind 1 Project who are ACTIVELY HIRING! Prior experience is not required…we have positions where you can get trained while you work. Happening right in the heart of New Bedford at the New Bedford Harbor Hotel, this won't be your average career fair. With DJ Mikey Monteiro, free food courtesy of Izzy's food truck, and activities to keep the kids entertained, this event will be one the whole family can attend.
