The day will begin with breakfast & 3 hours of CE at McNellie’s downtown Tulsa! Check in at 7:45. Breakfast will include scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon &/or sausage, fresh fruit, French toast, & your choice of a mimosa or coffee! We will dine & sip while learning! The activity in the middle of the day will be a Tulsa Art Deco tour! Wear your walking shoes a we will learn about Art Deco & Oilman’s district history. We will walk just under one mile- our group will be divided into 2 smaller groups. “Tulsa boasts ones of the nation’s best collections of gorgeous Art Deco architecture, ranging from ZigZag to streamline. Join us on a TFA Art Deco tour to learn what makes our city so different, and see beauties such as the Tulsa Club and the Pythian Building up close and personal. Take home a copy of ‘Tulsa Art Deco,’ our beautiful coffee table book, to complete your Art Deco experience.” From here we will be transported on a charter bus to our 3rd & final stop- Emersumnice Brewery in Owasso, just 20 minutes from downtown Tulsa! Here we will enjoy several options for lunch including multiple appetizers, several specialty pizzas, salads, & a pasta. We will each have the opportunity to do a beer tasting including 12 beers on tap with instruction. If you do not prefer beer, you may substitute the beer tastings for 2 glasses of wine. We will also be led on a short tour of their brewery, in smaller groups. We will finish our time of CE at this location & be back at McNellie’s to retrieve your vehicles by 4:30! The speaker will be Crystal Spring, RDH, BS, LAP. Her topics of education are: “Medical Dental Integration: Claim Your Seat at the Healthcare Table” & “Work Smarter not harder, Changing the Game with SDF and Glass Ionomer” Stay tuned for door prize announcements! Total CEs earned: 4 hours minimum Cost: $150 (includes full breakfast & choice of beverage at McNellie's, Tulsa Architecture Tour, lunch, beer tasting (or wine) & tour at Emersumnice Brewery, all transportation from McNellie's, the Architecture tour, the brewery, & back to McNellie's, & 4+ hours of CE!!) Five % of profit from ticket sales is donated to charity!
