This exhibit provides a rare opportunity to see one of the best bottling plant equipment and bottle exhibits in the USA. Curated by expert Casey Roby, this exhibit was recently donated to the Ice House Museum to showcase the early Silsbee Bottle Works operated in 1909 as a part of the Kirby Lumber Mill. See a large display of old hand-blown soda bottles, plus equipment, such as a carbonator, a Carbon Dioxide generator, an authentic 1890 Crown Bottling Machine and a Hutchinson Bottling Machine. The exhibit also includes original bottle works equipment from Bottle Works in various Texas factories, illustrations, old bottling equipment catalogues, crates, and syrup crocks and bottles.
