Run the 5K around downtown Wadena-or not. You'll still get your bag o' swag & an ice cold brew courtesy of Drastic Measures Brewing. Prizes for 1st place winners in each category will be awarded! Swag bags include; one special edition glass, custom t-shirt, a free pint of beer & more goodies! FAQsWhat time does registration start? Check-In begins at 5:30 pm on Sep 29th on the North side of Drastic Measures Brewing, right next to the patio. You will receive your packet & swag bag when you check in! What time does the race start? The race starts at 6:00 pm SHARP. Do I have to run? Nope. You can run, walk, ride- whatever. Or you can participate in the NoK. What is a NoK? Zero Kilometers. You can kick back and drink your beer while the run is going on. Will there be prizes? Absolutely- prizes will be awarded after the last runner has crossed the finish line. Where does the run take place? It begins & ends at Drastic Measures Brewing, running through the South end of town on the calmer side streets. How will I know my time? This run will be timed the ol' fashioned way- with a stopwatch. We're here to have fun and drink beer. What's in the swag bag? One custom event T shirt, one special DMB glass, one Free pint token & a few more goodies! Can I register the day of the event? You can... but you might miss out on some swag. Day of registration will be $35. Can my kids participate? YES. We are PRO-FAMILY! Kids can swap their beer token for a soda pop or juice. Can my dog run with me? Yup. Just make sure Fido is on a leash no longer than 6' & you pick up his business. Will there be water provided? There will be cold water available at the halfway point & the finish line.
