Millwork Conversations is a happy hour chat between Omaha’s creators, innovators, artists, thought leaders and activators. Millwork Conversations will provide an opportunity to learn from people across communities right here in Nebraska and across the country about new ideas and what’s possible – how to push past real and imagined boundaries. Each month will provide an inspiring, memorable experience for attendees through compelling conversations. Joining us this month is Conversation Leader, Albert Varas... Albert has dedicated his life to supporting the advancement of underserved youth and families. For over 20 years, his professional career and service work has focused in the areas of education, nonprofits, business, and public health. In addition to serving the community as the CEO of the Latino Center of the Midlands, Albert has served on several local boards and volunteers his time as an advisor to emerging and established nonprofit organizations.
