The University of Iowa Office of Innovation is sponsoring a state-wide initiative to help nursing professionals across Iowa to bring their creative solutions to healthcare challenges forward. Using hands-on healthcare technology, participating nurses can explore their ideas through design and prototyping. Working with UI Innovation Team, participants will learn how to judge the applications of their ideas in clinical and commercial environments, be exposed to business development options, and obtain design and prototyping support. The September 7 event is a kick-off overview of the program. Any nursing professional is invited to attend to explore the resources that are available and learn how they can be accessed.
